UVGI Safety
UVGI emits deep ultraviolet radiation with extremely high intensity near its surface. The 275nm wavelength produced by this device is much more irradiant than typical sunlight. Direct exposure could cause damage to the retina and/or cornea of your eye or result in a severe sunburn-like reaction to the skin. Therefore, while this unit’s wavelength and power provide for rapid decontamination, safety precautions must be observed during operation. DO NOT look at or expose any part of your body to the UV light. Be aware of divergent UV light when sanitizing reflective surfaces. Users, observers, and bystanders MUST wear eye and skin protection when the UVGI device is on. This device is for commercial use only. UVC should not be, and is not intended for, use for direct human decontamination. Keep out of the reach of children.
